Characteristics - Uses:
Forgon 40EC, containing the active ingredient Dimethoate, is an organophosphate insecticide with a very strong fumigant action, as well as contact and stomach action. It has a broad spectrum of control, effectively managing many insect pests such as leaf folders, stem borers, armyworms, fruit flies, stink bugs, rice gall midges, rodents, whiteflies, green caterpillars, diamondback moths, flea beetles, branch borers, sweet potato weevils, mosquito bugs, scarab beetles, and others on a wide range of crops.

- Dosage: Mix 40 – 60 ml / 20-liter sprayer (Soil drench at 500 – 1,000 liters/ha)
● Maize, Rice

Notes:
- Pre-harvest interval (PHI): 14 days
- Do not spray during strong winds or when heavy rain is expected.
- Do not apply during flowering. If pest pressure is high, repeat application after 5 – 7 days.
- For sensitive crops such as melon, cucumber, squash, and grafted crops (grafted grapes, grafted mango, early-ripening lychee), reduce dosage when using high-pressure sprayers.
- Spray thoroughly when larvae are newly hatched or at early stages (instar 1 – 2) For young plants or greenhouse crops, reduce dosage accordingly.
- Spray volume: 400 liters/ha.
